The glory of Muhammad. Muhammad was the founder of the religion of Islam, and is considered by Muslims to be a messenger and prophet of God. Muslims believe Mohammed was the last of the Islamic prophets, which included Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus. Muhammad was born in Mecca in Saudi Arabia in 570. He was a deeply spiritual man, and often spent time in meditation on Mount Hira. According to Muslim tradition, Muhammad means 'praiseworthy' and 'glorified'.
