Ragini Gujari is usually perceived as the Ragini of dales and meadows which by its pathetic notes allures nature, gazelles, and in some cases a peacock, in particular, and they gather around the vina-playing figure manifesting the Ragini.
The conventions of this Ragini vary, but the usual theme is a lady waiting for her loved one. Here, she plays music in the garden surrounded by beautiful peacocks. It is a very epic and traditional Rajasthani art where music, dance, devotional poetry and secular literature occur to express feelings of love and gratitude. This presentation is one of the 12 Ragini Kukubha series dedicated to 12 months of the year.
